HN: What do you like to do in your spare time?
KT: For me, I just really like to relax and spend time with my family.
HN: What food do you like best?
KT: I love tacos.
HN: Do you have a favorite movie?
KT: Like there’s any doubt. It’s “We Are Marshall.”
HN: What type of music do you listen to and who is your favorite artist?
KT: Country and hip hop are my favorites. My favorite artists are Chad, Iceberg, Meek Mill, and Dustin Lynch.
HN: Do you have a nickname?
KT: My friends call me “Jersey.”
HN: Do you have a major picked out yet?
KT:I plan on majoring in business management.
Thoughts and Opinions
HN: Who is your favorite football player of all-time?
KT: My favorite football player of all-time is William “The Fridge” Perry.
HN: What has been the most memorable moment on the football field so far in your career?
KT: My most memorable moment so far in football is when we scored a last second touchdown to beat Miami-Norland.
HN: Do you have a pre-game ritual?
KT: I always pray before every game.
HN: What position will you be playing at Marshall?
KT: I’ll be playing on the interior at guard.
HN: What's your biggest strength?
KT: As a guard, my biggest strengths are pulling and “down” blocks.
HN: As a player, what is the one thing you want to work on in your first year at Marshall?
KT: Division-I football is much different than high school so I want to work on everything to get better.
A look at the recruiting process
HN: What was the determining factor in you choosing Marshall?
KT: Huntington is a small town and I liked that. I loved the coaching staff, people around the program, and my future teammates.
HN: What are your thoughts on the Marshall coaching staff?
KT: They’re a great group. Coach Holliday has done a great job putting them together and I hope they stay together for a long time.
HN: Is there one Marshall coach you feel especially close to?
KT: No question that it’s Coach Mirabal.
HN: What was your favorite part of your official visit?
KT: The game was my favorite part for sure.
Future and Goals
HN: What number would you like to wear at Marshall?
KT: I’ll either be wearing number 62 or number 65 when I get to Marshall.
HN: What are your goals for your first year in college?
KT: I want to make the Dean’s List.
HN: What would you like to say to Marshall fans?
KT: Be patient and have faith in us because we got this.
