Marshall has announced 2016 summer camp and clinic information. The Herd staff will host 10 camps/clinics starting in April with the annual Coaches Clinic and ending in late July with the Elite Showcase Camp! Marshall Football Coaches Clinic, April 22nd-23rd
Registration begins at 3pm on the 22nd. In addition to programs from coordinators Bill Legg and Chuck Heater, break-out sessions with the Herd staff and remarks from Coach Doc Holliday, Huntington High School head football coach, Billy Seals, will be the clinic's featured speaker! Seals' Highlanders have advanced to the West Virginia AAA state playoffs in 2014 and 2015. The clinic wraps up on the 23rd with insider access to a Herd spring football practice session.
June One Day Advance Camps, June 6th-11th
Registration begins at noon each day starting on the 6th. Camp starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm. The one day camps are open to 11th and 12th graders, Post Grad and Junior College athletes. Camp fees are $30 if registered in advance and $40 on the day of the camp.
June 7 on 7/Big Man Camps, June 15th-16th
Registration begins at noon on both days. Camp starts at 1pm and ends at 5pm. The 7 on 7 camp is open to high school teams, grades 9-12. Fees are $20 per person, fee includes a t-shirt. All 7 on 7 participants are required to bring helmets and cleats.
Registration for the Big Man camp also begins at noon on both days. Camp starts at 1pm and ends at 5pm. Registration fee is $20 and includes a t-shirt. All participants are required to bring helmets and cleats. Camp is designed to improve offensive and defensive line skills and fundamentals.
July 24th One Day Elite Showcase Camp, July 24th
Registration begins at noon. The camp starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm. The camp is open to 11th and 12th graders, Post Grad and Junior College athletes. Registration fee is $40 in advance and $50 the day of the camp, includes a t-shirt.
