Marshall offensive lineman Ethan Driskell and running back Rasheen Ali have been formally invited to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place later this month at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The NFL released its full list of players to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday – a list that features 321 of the best draft-eligible football players for the 2024 NFL Draft.

The announcement of Driskell and Ali marks the first time for Marshall to have two players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in the same season since 2019 when wide receiver Tyre Brady and late defensive back Malik Gant were both invited.

Both Driskell and Ali turned heads during the East-West Shrine Bowl festivities, showcasing their talents in practices as scouts looked on.

Driskell, who became one of Marshall’s most durable and dependable offensive tackles in the last two seasons, turned heads with his 6-foot-8 frame, near 7-foot wingspan and his strength at 312 pounds.

The Louisville, Kentucky native appeared in 48 career games for the Herd, starting the final 26 games of his Marshall career.

Ali turned heads in the first day of the Shrine Bowl practices with his vision, burst and ability to separate in the passing game as well. He later missed the game due to an injury, but his impact was still enough to earn the invite to the NFL Scouting Combine to meet with teams.

During his Marshall career, the Cleveland, Ohio, native rushed for 2,831 yards with 39 touchdowns. He also caught 76 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

In 2023, Ali finished with 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns while also hauling in 28 passes for 213 yards and a score as he cemented himself as one of the Sun Belt’s top running backs.

Players will report to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine on Feb. 26 and take part in interview and on-field sessions through March 4.
