With spring practice in the books and commencement marking the end of the semester, the Herd football program turns its focus to summer.
Next month, as summer classes begin, Coach Sinclair will introduce the Class of 2015 to a FBS level strength and conditioning program. The rest of the staff will prepare for camp season. The Herd will host 15 total camps this June and July. Each camp offers the opportunity for players to learn and improve while providing the staff a chance to see a few targets in action.
The Herd staff will host eight Junior/Senior Advanced One Day Camps starting June 8th at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
These individual camps will give rising high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn proper position technique and drills from the Thundering Herd staff. The camps are also open to post grad and junior college athletes.
The camps will begin at 9 AM and run until noon each day, with registration beginning at 8 AM. Discounted rates are available for pre-registering. Walk-ups the day of the camp will also be accepted. All campers will receive a t-shirt.
The Junior/Senior Advanced One Day Camps are scheduled for June 8th - 13th and June 15th and 16th.
