Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson cornerback Ahmed Shakoor (5-foot-11, 190 pounds, 4.5 seconds) was one of the most talked about recruits by Marshall fans from the moment he gave his commitment early in the summer right up through Signing Day.
The Marshall coaching staff weathered stiff competition for Shakoor's signature and it paid off.
