Getting to know Artie Henry III

HN: What do you do in your spare time?
AH3: In my spare time outside of football I like to go fishing and spend time with my friends.

HN: What food do you like the best?
AH3: The food I like the best are macaroni and cheese, oxtails, chicken and steak.

HN: Do you have a favorite movie?
AH3: I don't have a favorite but I love inspirational type movies.

HN: What type of music do you listen to and who is your favorite musical artist?
AH3: Honestly I listen to all types of music and it depends on my mood. My favorite artist is Boosie.

HN: Do you have a nickname?
AH3: My nickname is Shakey, which came from my mother and from football.

HN: Do you have a major picked out yet?
AH3: Kinesiology.

HN: Who is your favorite football player of all-time?
AH3: Peyton Manning.

HN: Do you have a pre-game ritual?
AH3: No I don't have a pre-game ritual. I just listen to music and envision myself making big plays.

HN: What position will you be playing at Marshall?
AH3: Wide Receiver. Either inside, outside or both.

HN: What will you bring to Marshall as far as a strong point?
AH3: I'll bring a willing mentality, explosiveness and good character. I'm also a threat to score anytime I touch the ball from anywhere on the field.

HN: What is the one thing you need to work on to play at the next level?
AH3: Perfecting the little things. I want to be more precise in my route running.

HN: What one thing was the determining factor in your picking Marshall?
AH3: The determining factor for me picking Marshall over everyone else was that I felt like they have my best interest in mind as a person outside of football. They have a plan for life.

HN: What are your thoughts on the Marshall coaching staff?
AH3: I think the entire coaching staff is great. They treat their players good, are hard-working and are winners.

Is there a Marshall coach that you feel especially close to?
AH3: Coach Goebell. He was honest with me from day one.

HN: What was the best part of your official visit to Marshall?
AH3: I loved the Hall of Fame. That was the best part of my visit.

HN: What number would you like to wear at Marshall?
AH3: I would like to wear #2.

HN: What are your goals for your first year in college?
AH3: Come in and get nothing less than a 3.0, work hard for a starting apot and put up numbers.

HN: What would you like to say to Marshall fans?
AH3: I would like to say to Herd fans that 2018 will be a GREAT year and I'm glad to be a part of it!
