After dropping last Saturday's homecoming game to East Carolina, Marshall head coach Mark Snyder and the Thundering Herd (3-2) have taken to the road to face Tulane (2-2) in the Louisiana Superdome. The Herd is 2-0 against the Green Wave since joining Conference USA. Although Marshall has hosted Tulane and played them away, it will be the Herd's first trip to the Superdome to face the Green Wave. Hurricane Katrina forced Tulane to play Marshall in Birmingham when the Green Wave was scheduled to host the Herd in 2005. This is a big game for both teams outside of C-USA implications.
