Galax (Va.) Galax High School defensive end DeVae Goins (6-foot-5, 230 pounds, 4.7 seconds) is having a tremendous senior year. There has always been serious interest in the Old Dominion State defender but grades have been a limiting factor. Like many prospects, Goins got off to rocky start in the classroom but he is turning things around nicely. The Galax standout visited Marshall over the weekend and returned home impressed.
