After dropping last Saturday’s Friends of Coal Bowl to West Virginia, Marshall head coach Mark Snyder and the Thundering Herd (4-3) will be back in the friendly confines of Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday to face UAB (2-4), led by head coach Neil Callaway. The Herd is 3-1 against the Blazers since joining Conference USA with last year's game in Birmingham as the only blemish on the Herd's record in the series. Both teams enter the game with 2-1 records within the conference and are coming off road losses to BCS conference foes.
