Speedy playmakers on offense are at a premium in the age of both pass-happy and spread offenses. Orlando (Fla.) Freedom High standout receiver Jeff Badet fits that profile.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pounder caught 64 passes for 903 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior. That came one year after he hauled in 46 receptions for 718 yards and 11 scores.

Badet verbally committed to South Florida in August over a final three that also included Boston College and Louisville. But Badet decided to open up his recruitment a few months later, and three new schools have emerged.
