Defensive line is an area of recruiting focus for Marshall in the 2010 recruiting class. Among the top targets on the board is Bedford (Va.) Liberty defensive tackle Brandon Sparrow. The athletic lineman measures in at 6-foot-4 and weighs 250-pounds. While on the recruiting trail last week, Marshall assistant Phil Ratliff stopped in to see Sparrow and before the visit was through, the Liberty standout was locked in for a visit.
